And I think you're going to see that the similarities do greatly outweigh the differences.

Another key and really nice similarity between HDMI and skater is that both of these things can be run from a Windows based PC and to a certain extent you can say that they can both be run on the same devices while there are certain devices which are dedicated only for specific HDMI applications.
